We believe that God is good, that all His thoughts and ways are good, and that ultimate fulfilment in life is only found in Jesus.

Our commitment is to seek first the Kingdom of God, knowing that it is only his Presence that can transform our lives and this world.

We invite you to join us on that pilgrimage.

WE BELIEVE

  • The inspiration of the Bible, equally in all parts and without error in its origin, to be the Word of God and the infallible rule of faith and conduct;

  • The one God, eternally existent Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, Creator of all things, who created man by a direct, immediate act;

  • The pre-existence, incarnation, virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, substitutionary death, burial, bodily resurrection, ascension to Heaven, and the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ, Who is presently seated at the right hand of God, the Father, and is true God and man;

  • The fall of man, the need of regeneration by the operation of the Holy Spirit on the basis of grace alone, and the resurrection of all to life or damnation;

  • The personal salvation of believers through the shed blood of Jesus Christ;

  • The sanctification of believers in the Lord Jesus Christ through the Word of God by the Holy Spirit in personal holiness of heart and life;

  • The divine healing, through faith in the Name of Jesus Christ, that is included in the atonement;

  • The baptism of the Holy Spirit as distinct from the new birth, with the evidence of speaking in tongues as the Spirit of God gives utterance, and in the fruit of the Spirit and the gifts of the Spirit and their availability to all believers; and

  • The evangelizing and witnessing of God's saving grace through the ministry of the Holy Spirit in accordance with the Christian Commission of Matthew 28:19.

Some Whys?

  • We seek to worship the Lord with all our heart, mind, soul and strength.

    (Mark 13:30)

  • “Clap your hands, all ye people; shout to God with a voice of triumph.“

    (Psalm 47:1)

  • “Lift up your hands in the sanctuary and praise the Lord.”

    (Psalm 134:2)

  • Psalm 34:1, Psalm 109:30, Psalm 47:6, Psalm 66:1, Col. 3:16, Isaiah 12:6

  • Psalm 95:6, Psalm 150:4, Psalm 149:3, 2 Samuel. 6:14

  • 1 Cor. 14:39, 1 Cor. 12:7-10

Since God is Spirit, He will connect with us in a spiritual (supernatural) way.  Sometimes when we come in contact with God, we are afraid, but God says, “Fear not!”  The Bible records various responses to the Lord’s presence.  Some couldn’t stand up, others wept, some shook or even appeared drunk, and others spoke in tongues.  There is no “right response.”  We do not promote or seek after visible response and are not into hype or trying to make something happen – but we do passionately welcome the Holy Spirit to work among and in us.  Please walk in grace with others as we all learn how to walk in the Spirit.  If you come here hungry and open to receive from the Lord, you are in the right place.  The Bible assures you that the Father gives good gifts and that if you ask for the Holy Spirit you will get what you ask for.

If you have any questions regarding this, please see one of the Elders.
