The National House of Prayer
The National House of Prayer was established in 2005 and since been committed to praying for the Government of Canada. Our heart is to establish an ongoing positive Christian presence in Canada.
We desire to help mobilize informed and sustained prayer for all government leaders and the decisions they make. We seek to help build a bridge between our government leaders and caring Christians from across Canada. Our hope is that through these meaningful relationships, God would influence these leaders with a perspective of righteousness that would bless them as they serve our nation.
Because we believe in “informed intercession” we research and stay up-to-date with the current issues facing our leaders, and then provide this insight to thousands of intercessors through our regular email newsletters. Networking with the many prayer movements in Canada is one of our greatest joys as we see coordinated prayer being released through city-wide prayer movements, new Provincial Houses of Prayer, and emerging leaders.
Downtown Hope
Downtown Hope is a ministry to those experiencing homelessness and the transient community in downtown Nanaimo. An inter-church team establishes relationship and support through the week and hosts a meal and sharing time every Saturday afternoon/evening in the Old Quarter. In the summer and periodically through the year, the team also has music and outreach events at the local waterfront parks.

Pioneers in the field of Legislative Chaplaincy and the only ministry in Canada soley focused on caring for the spiritual and emotional needs of politicians.
We believe that when leaders are supported and well cared for they provide better governance.
